First night experience life on a working Irish farm, meet the family and neighbours. Enjoy genuine home cooking.

Second night set in the world famous Langtons Hotel enjoy an evening of story telling and music at Langtons including a traditional Irish meal of honey roasted bacon cabbage and colcannon . This is an authentic evening of Irish entertainment as it was 100 years ago.

Option 2

Late afternoon visit to Castlecomer Discovery Park where history and science come alive. Then overnight in our working Irish farms, enjoy a scrupulous meal and meet the family in our comfortable homes.

BUS TOURS

Tour Ideas for bus tours who wish to use our homes as the base for a one ,two or three day stay in our farmhouses.

Leave the farmhouses rested after a hearty Irish breakfast and a good night sleep. And travel to Kilkenny the Medieval capital of Ireland here you visit the beautiful Kilkenny castle . Then you travel to Waterford city where you stop for lunch before visiting Waterford crystal and enjoy there interesting factory tour. Travelling back via New Ross you visit the famine ship Dunbrody to experience what it was like to travel on these ships during the time of the famine. Now back to Kilkenny for some shopping and free time and lastly back “home” to your welcoming hostesses for dinner and rest.

 
Leave the farmhouses and travel south to Cashel to visit “the Rock of Cashel” then onto Cahir to visit Cahir castle . All castled out you the travel to Clonmel for lunch and free time and then onto Callan for to see Edmond Rice birth place and see the town where the builder of the White House was born. Onto Brod Tulloran for an early dinner and have an Irish Night of story telling and craic. Back to the farmhouses for rest and a good night sleep.

Leave the farmhouses and travel to Rathdowney and over the Slieve Blooms mountains and experience the panoramic views ,onto Birr to visit the castle and gardens and famous largest telescope in Ireland, after lunch travel Banagher to take a cruise on the Shannon. After this we travel to Tullamore to visit Tullamore dew factory and finally return to our farmhouses for dinner and rest.
